Hussaini Jibrin,  is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of History and War Studies, Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) Kaduna, Nigeria. He has attended and presented papers at many workshops/conferences within and outside Nigeria. Dr Jibrin has also contributed a number of articles and chapters in peer reviewed journals and books. For over a decade, he has been holding different administrative responsibilities in University system.

He is a member of many editorial boards and at his credit, edited a book, Readings on Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution, 2016 and with AM Ashafa, co-edited The Nigeria Army in a Democracy Since 1999: A Professional Demonstration of Military Subordination to Civil  Authority: Essays in Honor of Lieutenant General T.Y. Buratai 2017.

He has co-authored books on teaching history at Secondary Schools in Nigeria. He is currently the Coordinator, Postgraduate Academic Progammes, Department of History and War Studies, NDA. His area of specialization is Military History, Defence and Conflict Studies.
